Catalina Soto-Jones, JD, is Executive Vice President and General Counsel at FifthTheory, LLC. She is a licensed attorney in Illinois where she currently practices employment, healthcare, and real estate law. Ms. Soto-Jones is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Cook County Bar Association, and the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois. She earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola College of Law. Ms. Soto-Jones is admitted to the Illinois Bar and is a member of the Federal Trial Bar, Northern District of Illinois.

Ms. Soto-Jones also earned a Master of Arts degree from the University of Chicago with a major in Social Service Administration. She has over 20 years of executive-level experience successfully leading both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in Chicago. She has also held an executive-level appointment at the Illinois Department of Human Services where she oversaw both the budgeting and the operations of the State’s Social Service programs. She has served on a wide variety of boards for non-profit organizations in Illinois.

Catalina Soto-Jones serves as President of Chicago TestPrep.Org, LLC, a for-profit edutech organization that empowers high-stakes test takers to master important educational, licensure, and certification exams. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois where she specializes in clinical assessment, programming, and research. Ms. Soto-Jones has contributed to research publications that address risk management, privacy rights, and employee stress and burnout.
